There are now (at least) 5 Neumanns living in our house. One of them has a long tail, whiskers and a twitchy nose.
I was sitting in our TV room last night and I saw a mouse running around like he owned the place. I quickly took out my camera and snapped this picture of him. I suspect he might have some family members in the house as well.
We live in a wooded area with an old creek out back so I'm not surprised by our new adoptee. There is no shortage of possums, racoons, rabbits and other critters running around in our back yard. Our neighbors across the street even saw several coyotes in front of our house last summer. Thankfully none of these critters have come in to our house to visit the mice.
